In the past Rietavas was a place of key innovations, but after two
World Wars it‘s significance was lost.
Reconstructing the carriage house – the only remaining manor‘s
structure – we tried to respect the historical volume while
creating spectacular naturally lit spaces and a rational layout.
Modern additions are distinctly identified as new while old
masonry is clear to be historic.
The building contains two multifunctional halls, a library and
administrative functions.
