About:
Moderate form, pitched roof volume is connected to Art department but set back from the building line on the T.Kosciuškos street in order to leave the old gymnasium building in the foreground. The two buildings are connected by the plastic shaped covered gallery. The solution to lift the extension by glazed plinth allows the dialog between old and new, where the upper part of the building interprets the old architecture and the plinth represents contemporal architecture.
