with tall trees, 4 historic ammunition vaults.
Idea: elevated+lowered
The buildings in the higher part of the plot are elevated
on slender steel columns in order to „catch the sun“ and
leave the walls of historical ammunition vaults
undisturbed. Meanwhile the buildings down the slope are
lowered and provided with the yards on the creek bank.
All houses are clad in wooden planks of different
textures. The perspective of the new street is not
obstructed, but rather extending into the valley of
Ribiškės landscape reserve.
