About: Single-storey, square-plan bulding has been designed to
live for 10 persons diagnosed with disabilities. 2 double
rooms and 6 single rooms revolves around internal
courtyard separated by transparent partitions. After
moving the partitions aside, spaces of the courtyard and
dining area merge into one, perfectly suitable for larger
gatherings. A modern architectural expression is
symbolically combined with traditional Lithuanian
architectural inclusions. Sliding glass doors enable
stepping outside from each room. Verticality of the
openings is emphasized by high carved wooden shutters.
