About:
Name of development „Britch terraces“ derives from
natural situation of development where tope of birch
trees occupy central area of site. This was the core of
design idea to protect and integrate architecture to
nature instead of erasing it. There are 4 free standing
multistory buildings on site, circling the birch tope. All
buildings are individually rotated for best open vistas
either to inner court or other open spaces. Uniqueness
of building’s architecture are in corner terraces that
create universal enclosed space for apartments like
extension of living room for warm season of the year.
