About: MO Museum introduces a new cultural space in Vilnius
city. Private foundators Viktoras Butkus ir Danguole
Butkiene initiates an exclusive Lithuanian modern and
contemporary art collection from 1960s to the
contemporary art. The Museum is designed with a
unique outside terrace that cuts through all three levels
of the Museum for public use. From the entry level in
the front facade wide stairs lead to an amphitheater
terrace. The terrace is an open interior space 24/7
accessible. It is a contemporary interpretation of a
historical old town courtyard with the gates left open to
observe the City.
