About: The renovation of the Smiltyne Yacht Club has helped to
revive the worn out yacht club for new activities, to find
a sustainable relation with the existing architectural
expression of buildings, to preserve the unique
atmosphere and to attract visitors´ attention to the
beautiful images of the port of Klaipėda. Warehouses are
transformed into a hotel with 25 roms. A lot of existing
architectural details and roughness typical of the yacht
club are preserved in the interiors and facades.
The pool edge is the art object for the street art festival
"EDIT" in Klaipėda.
