About: The main goal is to turn school into a day-care center of
the Kačerginė community. We have achieved this by
intervening the first floor of school with new volume and
program. In this way, the old part is severely separated
from the new one while functionally building program
merges and complements each other.
The new volume of multi-functional hall is trampled
onto the ground, thus reducing its mass. The silhouette
of buildings on the other side of the street is used in the
facade expression. In the evening, when lights turn on,
passers-by are going to see people doing sports inside.
