About: The spring of the square is the concept for redesigning
the historical square. The project has two layers. The
first layer is the new spacial outcome with a new
recreational landscape design. The second is a new
quality of existing monument surroundings.
The structure is linked with existing paths with some
improvements such as open stairs in front of the street
and new grass filled pavement paths among narrowly
lifted grass lawns with the geometrical group of trees on
top that give an impression of the mystical garden and
make a new background for an existing monument of
poet K. Donelaitis.
