About: House in Zverynas maintains links to the historic past of
its neighborhood while at the same time it is modern and
metropolitan in its architecture. To achieve that a
contemporary interpretation of a pitched roof was
designed. The idea also allows to create high, geometric
interior spaces. Black, white and grey dominate the
palette of materials used. Natural stone is chosen as the
main fasade material and the ground floor is coated in
timber in order to honour the wooden architecture
which reflects the historical area of central Vilnius.
