About: Riga is known for its Art Nouveau architecture style.
Some quarters of these blocks have inside plots full-
filled by simple, low-heights wooden buildings or it´s
just
waste land plots with some worthless ruins. Krāsotāju st.
8/10 plot is the case. Main architectural challenge
remains to make a new contemporary-built structure,
which fits the plot the best and gives opportunity to all
its surroundings to change in the good way, both
architecturally and socially. A rational and effective
structure of three built volumes, organised around
private inner yard is the main key of this suggestion.
