About: In the historical part of Klaipėda-the territory of the
Narrow Railway Station building complex, where
S.Nėries and Priestočio streets meet - the regulations
allow a new building of 3-5 storeys. The uncertainty led
to urban design study. The concept of the building
is that the urban lines of S.Nėries str. form a system
where the building becomes a missing element from the
urban structure, “holding” the corner of the block. Two
joined volumes react to surroundings, mirror the
composition elements, complement Neo-Gothic and
Modern (red-white) stylistics. Corner windows become
the main viewpoint.
