About: The first Pape bird observation tower was truck by
lightning and burnt down.
A new structure inspired by the mythical bird -
Phoenix- obtains new life.
The context and sensitive environment influence the
structure to be ascetic. The lake, the meadows, the local
archaic wooden houses have a monochromatic outlook.
Therefore selected material - charred timber - for the
tower are so.
