About: When creating SEB Bank´s headquarters, we
implemented the idea of the bank as an open and cozy
public urban space. In the building, we created a
pedestrian connection between the two streets by
offering a nearly 10-meter-high amphitheater - a
passable public urban space with stairs for events,
hanging terraces and trees, a restaurant, coffee bars,
workplaces and a service area. The atmosphere in the
wood-scented bank is created by combining natural
materials inspired by Nordic cultures - wood, stone,
coarse plaster. Work and rest areas for employees are
designed above the public space.
