About: The idea of our project is a “building-chameleon”, which
maintains its stable shape and even volume, but at the
same time is constantly changing, reflecting the
environment here and now. This way, the project
responds to the vision of the Bank of Lithuania - a
progressive, proactive and open Eurosystem central
bank with a history of almost a hundred years.
Architectural means of expression and technological
innovations in construction are used for this purpose.
The strict shape of the façade, like a safe´s door, "slides"
and "opens up" into the projected park - an art object.
