About: Marijampolė is known for its parks, sports achievements and culture. That is why a sign of green town- green leaf imprint was taken as an idea for the arena building‘s silhouette.
The building is designed from two volumes: a transparent regular square shaped volume; outer shell volume. The transparent volume is designed for the main functions of the sports, open to the surroundings and environment. The volume of the outer shell is designed of openwork that gives the building lightness and extending the leaf imprint that strengthens the curved silhouette shape .
