About: St. Jacob´s quarter located on one of the most
prominent public space axis in Vilnius is the critical
node to keep the chain intact. We proposed to break
hotel program into a cluster of 5 small scale blocks to
create porosity for public access in a delicate old town
context. Liberated ground plane created a collection of
indoor and outdoor spaces, filled with diverse programs
and activities, creating a vibrant public destination in
the city.
