About: Compact volume building is designed in a small site of
Anykščiai old town, in a place where the previous house
once stood. The perimeter occupation of the street is
being recreated. Because of different circumstances
that happened while the time passed (change of the site
boundary, formed street, etc.), complete renovation of
previous occupation boundaries on plot is hardly
possible. In case while keeping adequate height,
orientation of the building and while evaluating
composition principles of the old town façades, the new
project is an architectural interpretation.
