New “Rupert” unfolds within a spatial re-exposure of the former 1957 “Young Technician” interior. An ergonomic and performative façade is activated on both sides for gatherings and display. Uncovered space is overlaid with infrastructure of display, events, operating as an interior–public space–scenographic machine. Operative furnitures materialised through artefacts of reuse. Historical layers, reused elements and a new technical infrastructure are assembled into a processual, self-generative environment operating across overlapping programmes of exhibition, work, living and public activity.
